London and Middlesex Rifle Association
The London & Middlesex Rifle Association is established within Bisley Camp, the UK's National Shooting Centre. We offer excellent facilities and opportunities for sportsmen and sportswomen who practice the art of target shooting using various types of firearms. Our focus is on full-bore Target Rifle (TR) and Match Rifle (MR) disciplines, but we also provide clubhouse facilities for those involved in other shooting sports who use or visit Bisley Camp.
During the shooting season, March to October, we organise many individual and team competitions. We offer something for all abilities, with friendly matches against other clubs and county teams through to trophy matches either at home or away against Scotland, Wales, Ireland and the Channel Islands. A timetable covering these events can be found on our events calendar. Results for most of our competitions will be posted in the results section as quickly as possible after the match. We also tour overseas approximately every 2 years, for example to the West Indies, Australia, Canada and Africa. Shooters of all abilities go on these tours.
About the Association
The London & Middlesex Rifle Association offers something for everyone who frequents Bisley Camp, the UK's National Shooting Centre. Our Clubhouse is large and well situated for the ranges, and full of the quintessential Bisley character.
We organise shooting events for all levels of shooters, from beginners to top internationals. Whatever your standard or asperations, becoming a member of the LMRA can be a big help in your shooting career.
Many smaller clubs, including some schools, affiliate to us in order to take advantage of our welcoming clubhouse and club and team competitions.
We offer some varied accommodation for those who have to travel further to reach Bisley. From inexpensive, basic clubhouse rooms to fully appointed motel-style rooms in St Georges Lodge, we have your stay at Bisley covered.
The LMRA is run by shooters for shooters. There is a management committee in overall control, and day-to-day operations are run by our professional management team.
